The owner Yuji-san was so nice and welcoming! He was very nice to chat with and that really made the guesthouse experience memorable. The beds were very comfy and the room was spacious. The guesthouse is super clean and it feels very comfortable just relaxing in the common area. Super walkable area in Wakkanai and close to the station.

We loved our stay at Wakkanai Woodhouse! The owner was exceptionally friendly and offered valuable local advice. Our room was cozy, immaculately clean, and featured beautiful sea views. While breakfast wasn't included, the room was generously stocked with a great variety of snacks and amenities. The location near the station and ferry pier was perfect.
