This is a very nice accommodation in a quiet street less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and the central market. The owners are friendly and respond quickly to messages. Rooms are clean and accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen and nice garden with pizza oven + barbecue and seating areas and hammocks.

The breakfast was AMAZING. Fruit and yogurt and after some eggs and homemade toast. Great kitchen in general. Great views, close to the city but far enough away to be private. Fantastic! Will be coming back soon.

Staying at Baia Sonambula was outstanding. The room (#1) I stayed in was magnificant. The staff was lovely and overdelivered. They went above and beyond during my stay. I highly recommend staying here. It is close to the beach - roughly a 10 second walk. The views from breakfast were breathtaking. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends and family

I spent 4 nights in Casa do Mar and loved every minute of it. On arrival in Tofo one of local shop owners rang the hotel to tell them I had arrived and within minutes I was collected and brought to the hotel where I was warmly welcomed. I chose a sea view room which I would really recommend as it had a balcony and I was able to sit out and watch the world go by - including seeing whales from the balcony. My room was spotless - it had wifi, AC, and constant hot water. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and very generous and served on the 3rd floor balcony where you have a wonderful view of the sea (and whales) below. The outdoor communal area was a really nice area to relax by the pool either during the day or after coming back from the city in the evening. The honesty bar is also a nice touch. The location is excellent - in about one minute you are down on the beach and it takes about 5 minutes to cross the beach to get to 'Tofo centre' which, for its size, has some excellent bars/restaurants. All staff were pleasant, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Tofo is one of those uniquely special places you come across when travelling and I would recommend Casa do Mar for any stay - business or leisure and know that I will return there when I get the chance to return to Mozambique.
