The property is filled with all kinds of art. It is fascinating to walk to halls and take it all in. Staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed speaking to the opener about his art and about his family. Dinner and breakfast were simple but delicious. Excellent value.

It’s a very interesting place full of paintings and real wood what appeared like 19th century furniture. Never been to a hotel like this. Great breakfast. Friendly Staff.

This was a traditional B&B where you actually are staying with a family - in this case a very friendly and helpful family. In addition to a comfortable room with A/C, TV, and private bath they served and excellent breakfast. Best of all was the informative and free ranging conversation over breakfast. Staying in Casa Lucia definitely helps you experience more of Nicaragua and have some in depth interactions with Nicaraguans. Also, the location is nice in the cities small Zona Rosa with some restaraunts, stores and bars nearby, though it is mainly residential.
