I initially booked 2N; but I ended up extending another night coz I liked the vibe of the place. I booked one of the private rooms. Upon inquiry, the hostel has 2 private rooms and 48 bunk beds (6 rooms with 8beds each). Room - the floor length windows, that opened to the common area/ garden, were covered with black out curtains. The bed is firm and clean. I especially liked the quality of the beddings and how it smelled fresh. The restroom has a rainfall showerhead and a bidet; they also provided toiletries (soap and shampoo). Common areas - Casavia has two common areas: (1) dining area where you can opt to cook/ eat; and (2) hang out/ living room area on the 2nd floor. Both areas are bright, and have strong internet! Location - the hostel has beach access. The beach is 15meters away from the dining area. So if you’re the type to enjoy coffee by the beach, then this is possible. The beach is rocky tho - think Magpopongko Rock Pools. The hostel is around 200m away from Cloud 9/ Shaka Cafe. I went surfing a couple of times during my stay & found the hostel conveniently located.

We loved our stay at The Ohm. Our room was upstairs which we thought was perfect for us! We had a nice pool view. The staff was always helpful and kind when we needed tricycles or bikes. The food was very tasty and the coffee was delicious. It is a calm place which allows you to work on your computer or just to soak in Siargaos vibe. We love staying a little more out of the noisy parts so this place was perfect for us. You can still easily walk to different bars and restaurants or take a tricycle. We also had the chance to meet the owner who was very kind. The Ohm is a little pricey compared to other places in Siargao but you get what you paid for.

The pictures on booking look great. But the place itself is even better! I had the best stay at Tanaw Villas. It was my first time traveling to Siargao and this place was everything I wanted, needed and more. Close enough to the fun things like Cloud 9 but when you're back at the place it's all quite, nature and your amazing villa. For me this was perfect. Next to this the team of Tanaw Villas do everything to make it even better. They help you with everything to make the most out of your stay at Siargao. Phiram & Christian and the rest of the team have the best tips and recommendations. Next time I go to Siargao I will def stay here again. Extra bonus is the moment you get dropped of after a daytrip to Sohoton or a Siargao landtour for example. All the others from the tour gasp when the bus stops at this place. And they didn't even see the Villas. XD.

This hotel is truly something special. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the food is lovely and the view of the waves and Pacifico beach is out of this world. The rooms are really nice and clean and even feature a little water dispenser. Watching the waves crash on the shore during sunrise right from your room is a magical experience. My girlfriend and I had a truly incredible time here, it has been an absolute highlight of our trip to the Philippines.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Kuya Froiland’s Resort. The owner really took good care of us and even arranged our tours and transfers. He was very hands on and vey accommodating. We really recommend staying in his resort because it is near everywhere and the villas itself are all cozy and clean. We would definitely go back
