We very much enjoyed our (too-short) stay in Casa do Ti Massias. It was comfortable and very clean, and the welcome we received was lovely. It's located inside the fortress walls of a town (and region) with an interesting history, with walking paths and Vilar Formoso's amazing Frontier of Peace (Aristides de Sousa Mendes) Museum not far away. We highly recommend it.

Great location! Located between Vilar Formoso, and Almeida Castle in Vale da Mula. Loved the spacious rooms, being surrounded by nature, and garden. Host was wonderful.

This is a great hostel-style lodging. There is a fantastic commercial-style kitchen for those who prepare their own food. (Which is the best option, as there are no cafes in this tiny village.) On this trip I visited the site of the re-introduction of wild horses in the Côa valley.

This guest house was a beautiful restoration of the original building updated with modern architectural features. The owners have sourced local artifacts and antiques that really add to the ambiance. The rooms are a recent restoration with excellent bathroom details. the hotel is located on the central town square, adjacent to the Pinhel medieval fortifications. our room was next to a cozy common area with a Cheerful fire in the fireplace . breakfast was excellent. The proprietors were very helpful and accommodating.

Lovely! Rooms were immaculate. Tastefully decorated. Very comfortable. Breakfast was truly delicious with generous portions. Located in town center. So convenient to all sights. Even allowed early checkin so we could begin enjoying our stay. Claudia, receptionist, was so welcoming, incredibly helpful, and professional. Just an outstanding experience to stay here.
