I arrived with pretty much the clothes on my back and thanks to amazing people I'm walking out with all name brand stuff and I'm humbly saying this I'm humble, good people do exist you just need to be equal and show love. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The sounds of the ocean were magnificent when the doors were open and yet the room was quiet when the balcony doors were closed. Breakfast was delicious. I appreciated every day cleaning and it was exceptionally well-done. I was very grateful for the quick and quality dry cleaning service. The decor was stunning and supportive to the beauty of the island. A major highlight was my relaxation time with Ricardo - a light-filled Soul with a high-frequency vibe who gave me amazing insights.

Casa do populo is located not so far from the beautiful populo beach, somewhat located in a city but still a gem in a small forest. it offers plenty of privacy and security, including a nice breakfast, small pool, whirlpool, grill and a really big garden. Everyday clean towels and cleaned up apartment are a huge plus.

The Convento de São Francisco is a built in a 17th century Franciscan convent.

A wonderful place to stay, tranquility, picture perfect, home-made breakfast of local products, friendly staff, architecturally restored with respect to the original building, great little village 5 minutes walk full of activities that equal what's available in the city, highly recommend to stay here rather than Ponta Delgada which is reachable 20-25 mins by car if needed - would return to stay at the Convent without question.

Hotel Arcanjo is housed in a 19th century building that combines traditional and modern design. It is ideally located 164 feet away from the beachfront, south of the São Miguel Island.

The property is well located in the middle of the south part of an island, allowing you to ride either to the west or east coast. It’s close to the highway, but in a good sense - it’s just a few minutes to get to the main road, saves travel time. To add on the location, it’s on the outskirts of a small but nice town where you can walk and taste some local goodies (bolos, queijadas). We personally liked the property for having a separate room and separate bathroom, separate patio to have our meals at - this way you don’t interfere with other guests. Supermarket (Pingo Doce) is really close by. The property’s kitchen is stacked up with any item you possibly need to cook a decent meal. And of course the host was amazing and helpful. Thanks Vânia!
