My wife and I are the first people to stay here since it was made available on Booking. In fact, we booked it just two days after it was listed. We're hiking the Via Dinarica, had spent Friday night in the mountain hut on Sneznik summit, and were looking for somewhere to stay in Babno Polje on Saturday night. Not knowing we were the first guests, I was surprised to see this cabin was available so I booked it. Nada, the owner, bought vegetables for us since the shops were going to be closed for the weekend. The cabin is fabulous and has been rebuilt to a very high specification. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, induction hob, and refrigerator. The bathroom has a super shower. You'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere nicer, or to find a nicer host(ess). It's on the edge of the forest in a quiet, agricultural region. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. My wife and I loved staying here and you will too!

Amazing place to stay! Run by a super friendly couple. I was hungry when I checked in and they gave me a sandwich, and when it was raining and I wasn't prepared they gave me an umbrella. Cute dog too.

This is a truly lovely location, hidden in the woods of Slovenia. From the main road you drive for approximately 15 minutes on small, unpaved roads. Once there you will find an inn surrounded by a couple of cabins. The 6-person cabin we had is like a tiny house: small but brand new with everything you could need. The hosts were very friendly, asking whether we would like a meal upon arrival and providing us with directions from the nearest village. There are some old and dilapidated buildings onsite but I don’t think you go here for a chique stay: you go here for peace and quiet, for a back-to-basics, glamping-like cabin experience and to be re-assured that there is still beautiful nature left in Europe.
