The location was great for outings such as Waianapanapa State Park, Wailua Falls, and Hamoa Beach as well as the general store and a great coffee truck. It is only a few steps to its own black rock beach--a lovely spot to sit in the evening or to watch sunrise. Sadly it was much too rough to swim there, but the sound of the surf easily reached our rooms and was lovely to sleep and wake to.

Beautifully maintained grounds. The units are seemingly pretty simple and unfussy, but actually full of little details and a show a lot of care. The beds are super comfortable.
