I have had to catch flights early in the morning or late in the evening multiple times at Shanghai Pudong airport and I always had to stay at a hotel which is not located in the airport itself. To my surprise, I decided to give it a go at the Holiday Inn and I was blown away by this hotel. It's conveniently located between terminal 1 and 2, so no need to exit the airport. The facilities are brand new, the hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are huge and they even let you "park" your trolley outside the room so you don't have to drag your luggage around when you have to catch your flight. The staff were super helpful and I was very impressed by this new hotel. I have stayed in more hotels in China than I can count and I will definitely stay here again.

The place was perfect because of the owner/hosts. They made us feel comfortable and well taken cared of. They gave us a room upgrade which was big enough for a family of 4. Breakfast was simple but very filling, my daughters liked it so much and it really helped us get through the long entrance queue of Disneyland 😊 The room was so pretty and beds were comfortable. I think each room is unique. I was even able to peak on one which has a ball pit😊 We avail of their shuttle service: pick up at train station, going to and from Disneyland and even drop off to the airport because of its convenience. Rates were reasonable. We’d like to stay again there If ever we’ll have the chance to go back to Shanghai Disneyland. I really appreciate his effort to get us familiar with the area, patiently giving us recommendation for restaurants, directions to train stations, and even attending to our various requests. We got an upgrade to family suite. The room was absolutely fantastic and spacious. We will definitely come to stay again when we stop by in Shanghai. Mr Sun and Mr Feng also were helpful in attending to our needs, helped us get a transports (even stopping taxi in the middle of the road). Overall the staffs were superb. Thumbs up to them.
