They also have a onsen at the hotel that was great for relaxing after a day of sight-seeing. Staff was amazing and very welcoming! I highly recommend.

Beautiful, traditional ryokan not far from Matsushima Station. You can get to the main attractions in Matsushima on foot in about 20-30 minutes comfortably. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. Great experience!

It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.
