We had a lovely stay and will definitely visit again!

Featuring a garden and views of lake, La Dominotte Arcen is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Arcen, 26 km from Toverland. The property features river and garden views. La Dominotte Arcen was is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. The renovations throughout are beautifully done, for example marble in the window sills and above the bathroom sink. Combine this with modern heating system and well appointed rooms furniture, so you get the perfect experience. Hosts were super friendly and also run a very cute cheese and wine shop downstairs, and at breakfast time, they invite you to go there and select items such as local cheeses for your breakfast. Eggs are fresh that morning from their chickens. The breakfast I have to say is the best I've had in years - all fresh local ingredients.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated B&B Emma features accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Everything you could need/want is a block away. Our room was very spacious and inviting. The owners were extremely accommodating. There was a small issue with the room and the owner fixed it immediately. Breakfast was also excellent

Offering a garden and mountain view, De Hoogstam is located in Vijlen, 10 km from Historical Town Hall Aachen and 11 km from Aachen Central Station. Fantastic B and B, lovely setting, garden and countryside views. Super clean. Very comfortable. Excellent kitchen facility with fridge. Hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming. Great location. Recommend evening meal in the hotel up the road. Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended.

Set in Belfeld, 27 km from Toverland, Jaegershoes offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Located in a calm village, you can hear the animals (especially the donkeys) talking 😉. Not far from Venlo, a nice town for a stroll. A friendly owner and warm hearted staff working in the farm ☺️ The room, bathroom and kitchen are very clean and modern.

Set within 15 km of Vrijthof and 15 km of Basilica of Saint Servatius in Valkenburg, Logement viphouse Valkenburg offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. Really nice hosts, very nice rooms. They waited us with rose and refreshment and when we left they baked cookies for us. Any questions we had they were really helpful. Very close to city center, great hiking opportunities around.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Kasteel Wolfrath is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Born, 30 km from Vrijthof. The location was very nice, also the beds where comfortable!

De Oude Limonadefabriek, a property with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is situated in Beek, 16 km from Vrijthof, 16 km from Basilica of Saint Servatius, as well as 17 km from... De Oude Limonadefabriek is a W O N D E R F U L P L A C E. This is an authentic building and the owners fully restored it. Our room was on the second floor and a lot bigger than expected and very comfortable. The decoration is tasteful and we loved the way the day-light fills the room. The rain shower is nice and spacious (were not able to use the classic tub as we spent all time exploring). Breakfast was more than complete (freshly squeezed orange juice, a variety of fruit, an assortment of bread and danish and top quality of cheese and cold cuts) and was delivered in our room but can also be enjoyed in a lovely patio & garden. The village of Beek is charming, there are various nice restaurants at walking distance (we suggest to try Pasta & Vino and Mrs. Jones). The city of Maastricht is close, a very pleasant 30 minute bike ride crossing fields and villages. The German and Belgium borders are close as well. We recommend bike lovers to rent their bikes at the Shimano store in Valkenburg.
