From the complimentary bottle of wine and croissants, to the lovely wine tasting we had - the staff were excellent, facilities fantastic, the bed super comfortable, and had everything we needed, plus more! This farm stay provides free private parking and private check-in and check-out. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very pleasant cottage on the grounds of Drayton Family Wines along Oakey Creek Road which is large enough for a party of 6 though there were only 4 of us. We loved the space and tasteful furnishing / aesthetic touches to the cottage. Bottle of their lovely 2017 Shiraz and omplimentary tasting at the winery were included in our stay which was fabulous! The deck out at the back was great for meals and taking pictures of the clear starry sky at night. The cottage was also very close to nearby attractions such as the Hunter Valley Gardens, Wildlife Park and many other wineries such as Audrey Wilkinson, Ivanhoe, De Bertoli etc. We hope to be back someday!
