This place is wonderful and magical - full of peace and quiet. If you don't like village climates, you may not like it, but we were delighted. Of course you can smell the horses, because it's a stud, but the view of eating horses at breakfast, which are just outside the big window and the green fields around, are wonderful. The apartment was everything we expected and more. We traveled and stayed as a family 2 adults and 2 small children. We literally did not have to bring anything outside of toothbrush, paste, and clothes (hair accessories dryer/curler/iron for my wife was also included). Even the kitchen was well stocked with herbs,spices, and products for baking which was great for our family - coffee was a definite plus;) The pool (heated) was a great remedy for poor weather conditions on our first 2 days especially for the kids. There were pool toys and lay-down floats also available for use. Our host the Kollman's were very inviting, helpful and went out of there way to ensure we all had a great and comfortable stay. They have a great home here very modern and they have ensured that it is well prepared to receive visitors during this time.

Our modern, small compact studio apartment overlooked the back so it was very quiet. It had 2 kitchen electric hobs and enough kitchen ware - though a kettle would have been useful for boing water. There were thoughtful welcome touches such as a flower in a vase on the table with a small candle! Some tea bags and coffee would have been a good extra. Tourist literature on the landing (but all in German.....)
