Exceptionally clean room, convenient location, delicious breakfast, beautiful sunrise views on the 9th-floor observatory platform, and helpful staff.

Architecture and design of dwelling, quality of amenities, value of money, hospitality of host and hostess. It was truly one of kind experience. We noticed the place was rated “the most elegant courtyard” in town upon arrival, and it surely felt that way. It was designed in the style of traditional Chinese courtyard, with beautiful, living plants tastefully positioned throughout the property and in rooms - the hostess is also a floral artist. Everywhere you turn, it is a picture-perfect scene directly cut from a book or a movie. There are tea sets on table and newly harvested tea. A fruit plate was filled with the day’s fresh choices. Books are real, good books, not those only put there for decoration. The hotel staff was also very helpful. Seeing that we sometimes left our door ajar, she thoughtfully ignited mosquito-repellent herds around the vicinity. It is a place one might feel like living in a dream, surrounded by the ambiance of thousands of years of traditional Chinese culture. The moment you entered the hotel and closed the door behind you, you leave the hustling, bustling world outside, and entered one serene, zen and beautiful.
