Amazing breakfast, Great location very close to the beach Maria Pia , 15 minutes to Walk. It’s worth it to go there. Beautiful beach with white sand.

The staff were incredibly helpful at this resort. They patiently answered all of our queries and kindly spoke fluent English. Very impressed! The room was very clean and loved that they provided a clothes rack for drying off clothes and swimsuits. As it’s so close to the beach that you’ll be swimming most of your stay. The breakfast was huge and recommend including it in your stay. They had a lovely barista making coffee every morning. He served up tasty cappuccinos and latte macchiatos. He also kindly explained the difference of the drinks to me and made me one when they were about to close. What a sweetheart! Look forward to staying again. Hotel Calabona was an excellent choice for us for an extended weekend. The hotel is a real 4-star, classic, well-maintained hotel. The staff is extraordinarily supportive and that makes the difference. We were helped for things that were not necessarily the responsibility of the staff and it would have been very easy to say I don't know, it's not possible (reception, bistro). But people wanted to help sincerely and we appreciate it a lot (I would suggest the gentleman with the mustache, from the reception, night shift, to a bonus for the employee of the month, for his attitude and support). The breakfast is ok and we really liked that there are fruit juicers available for self-made fresh ones. The shuttle bus is free to the center (the cost is borne by the restaurant at Sepanto where hotel customers have a 10% discount) in certain time intervals and the driver is very kind. The beach is intimate and quiet, without music, only the sea can be heard, with a lifeguard during the day. There are rocks on the shore and it is easier to enter the water with water shoes, but it is also ok without). The massage is excellent. The rooms are clean and the mattresses are comfortable, plus full blackout curtains. Parking in the hotel yard (with payment) and free behind the hotel near the beach (within the limit of available places). Overall the quality/price ratio is honest, we will definitely come back. The transfer to/from AHO airport takes about 50 min by public bus, which has 1 stop in the center and 25 min by taxi/uber (50 eur +/-)

The property was well maintained, secluded and quiet! The staff was very friendly, offered suggestions about local activities and restaurants! You do need transportation from this property to sightsee and beach hop! We will like to come back and use the spa, we did not have time! The breakfast is very nice! Coffees, pastries, fruit, juices and yogurts! Just perfect to get the day started!
