This place is right on the waterfront with a great view on the water side. The staff I met were extremely helpful, though a couple times I had difficulty locating someone. I didn't spend much time there, but the room was pleasant and seemed to have everything I needed. They were kind about storing my rental bike overnight.

The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely incredible. Even though we are vegetarian, they were able to accomodate us with what was probably the best meal of our trip. The view out the window was also amazing. This is one of the best hotels I've ever visited!

Keishokan Sazanamitei provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within a 3-minute walk of Tomonotsu Museum and 400 yards of Tomonoura Museum of History and Folklore.

We very much enjoyed this Ryokan. They offered a shuttle from the train station, which is helpful as they are in Tomonoura . Easier than taking the bus if you are travelling by train! As soon as we arrived the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff was evident. This impressed us through out our stay. The door staff, the front desk staff and the dining staff - all exemplary. Our room was lovely with interesting wall finishings and a view over the water. The public areas were also attractive. Our meals were also overlooking the water and just delicious. We found having these wonderful traditional meals to be a highlight of our trip to Japan. While weather did not fully cooperate during our stay we still had a lovely hike on the adjacent island easily accessible by a short boat ride ( which runs continuously throughout the day). They also had a nice onsen with outdoor area.

Just a 8-minute walk from Okunoshima Island and half a mile from Okunoshima Island, Kyukamura Ohkunoshima features accommodations in Takehara, with a garden.
