I found my transfer ready at the airport, I checked in sipping their marvellous lemonade, in the modern, spotless and quiet room I found a complimentary water bottle and a fruit basket (dates are so delicious!), breakfast choice and quality is amazing, when I told them about a led lamp, they changed it immediately, and everything was perfect till the last day. I loved to find my pyjamas arranged as a butterfly on the bed. At the check out they organized a transfer to the airport and they noticed I left behind my cable. They even left me a little gift, souvenir of a perfect stay. Staff was impeccable at any time, I am really amazed with their professionality and kindness. Receptionists were really helpful. This hotel and especially its wonderful staff will make me visit Tunis again, probably in winter when climate is so mild.

We met the owner , a lovely man, and his staff, who arranged a tour for us with short notice. Private car to and from the airport. Just a great place overall. 6 star. * * * * * * . . . . We will stay here if we return to Tunis.

The El Mechtel hotel offers renovated and well-equipped rooms and suites. They are spacious, air-conditioned, and have a modern décor. They feature free, wired internet and all modern amenities. Staff was excellent. Quickly got good taxis and arranged going anywhere I wanted. Room was quiet and spacious. Facilities were great with large bar and two restaurants. Room service fantastic. I arrived late and hungry and soon had large pasta and seafood dinner, along with bottle of excellent Tunisian wine. Prices were very reasonable. Hard to beat all this! Plus the place looks great.
