This place is amazing. It's an historical Spanish hacienda from the 19th century, very well managed and maintained by Don Mario and his lovely family. The rooms are spacious, heated and clean. The view to the lake or patio are magnificent, very calm and quiet as it is a 10 minute walk from the town center. Highly recommended!

The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was made to order. I had a great view of the lake from my room, and I especially liked it that my room had donkeys next to it. If you arrive from the Sun temple, it’s not bad to get to, but of course, like all properties, coming from the Yumani port, it’s a an uphill adventure against altitude. If you want to go to Las Velas, it’s the perfect location because it is the closest accommodation. Since may be walking through the forest on your way back and need a flashlight, it’s very easy to find your way back. It’s also on the way to one of the lookout points from which it’s about 10 minutes to get there. The path to it continues past Las Velas.

Great room with beautiful view over the port and the town. Location is perfect when arriving with luggage, it is only a few steps up the hill from the port - most accommodations are a 30 minute steep uphill hike away. The downside is that the sun sets a bit earlier behind a mountain - but nothing stops you from hiking up after having dropped your luggage. Breakfast was amazing and freshly prepared. A terrace outside invites to relax in the sun. The staff was lovely and very helpful!
