The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The facilities were excellent and suitable for our needs. The location of the hotel is right in the center of the old town. We were able to walk to many of the main attractions, making this room convenient base for exploring the city. We were impressed by the owner. She was welcoming, attentive to our needs, and went out of her way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed the local breakfast that the owner took us to. The staff was incredible - kind, attentive, helpful. There was a language barrier, but that was navigated with phone apps and using the bits of shared language we had. The room and garden outside were beautiful and comfortable - inspiring relaxation. The location was also nice because it was close enough to the tourist spots that we could walk (20 minutes to the “Ancient City”, but still far enough away to be quiet. Also a series of good restaurants near the hotel, so always good choices to eat. Finally, there were many adorable animals - Gary the dog, the pudgy male cat, a lovely Siamese and three perfect kittens - all friendly and non intrusive, they were there if you went to them but never pushed into your space. A splendid way to complete a family friendly hotel.

We highly recommended this homestay to everyone who is coming to Lijiang for the first time. This was actually the highlight of our trip. When we got to the place it was already close to midnight, we were tired but the host greeted us so warmly with hot tea and traditional rose cakes (that she continued to offer us the next days). They helped us with booking cars to travel between Lijiang and other tourist destinations. The homestay itself is situated in a perfect location, accessible to all parts of Lijiang Old Town by foot. It is also very cozy and warm, clean rooms and towels. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Great location and really helpful staff. My phone internet stopped working and I needed help getting a taxi. The receptionist went with me and helped me getting a taxi to the right location.
