The room was spatious, moderrn and very cozy. Everything is super clean and nearly new. Franco the owner is very welcoming to his guests and serves tasty breakfast. The coffee was the best we had in Ecuador so far. Besides the room, also the patio was very cozy and inviting. Although the Hostal is close to a road, it is very quiet inside. We had a fantastic stay in Cuenca and felt very comfy in Francos Hostal.

Enjoyed this amazing stay in Cuenca . The hotel had everything my husband and I needed . We went on a couple get away and enjoyed the city , the views , the night life . Our hotel was right in front of a great view , so many attractions nearby . It is not loud at all , hotel was cleaned and staff was extremely helpful .

The owners and family were exceptional! So welcoming, always willing to help. I even spent Christmas Eve with them! They have maps to help you, they call cabs for you. A wonderful experience! Definitely recommend! And I will be back next time I am in Cuenca!

The room exceeded our expectations. It was way bigger than what I thought it would be. It was amazingly clean and confortable. Next to Cuenca's cathedral. The staff was also really nice and thoughtful. I'd recommend this place to anyone going to Cuenca. Amazing stay guaranteed !
