The host was very welcoming and the house has been beautifully renovated. Our room (The Nottingham) was spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was equipped with everything one would need. The breakfast had a wide variety of choice and was delicious. I would unreservedly recommend Belle Vue Guest House.

The house is beautifully decorated, the room was exceptionally comfortable, spacious, quiet. Martyn, our host, was super friendly and made us feel welcome and relaxed. He also had a wealth of advice and recommendations about restaurants nearby and places to visit. Breakfast was probably in the top five most delicious breakfasts we have ever had in a B&B. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff couldn’t be lovelier. I can’t fault this place, and will definitely be back.

Our room was luxurious, very clean and spacious. We were really taken aback by how beautiful the whole guest house is. Breakfast was just amazing, so tasty on both days and compliments to the chef. The room was comfortable, quiet & spacious with an air of luxury not often found in Guest houses / B&Bs. The owner was helpful and informative. We went for a walk thro the village past the windmill to Denver Sluice - the quantity and size of the blackberries beside the road was amazing! Breakfast was excellent too. Well worth a stopover or base to explore the area.

The lodges are situated in front of the lake, so very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed seeing a green woodpecker on day one and watching the geese, ducks and herons on the lake. The host Bradley was charming and helpful.
