I love staying at Posada Don Julio Lesbia was so attentive and friendly The place is super quiet and peaceful Away from the Flores noise and the people in San Miguel were sweet :) I would absolutely stay here again when I visit Peten thank you so much for everything!

We had two amazing stays at Ximel house! Hilda and Elvis are so helpful, kind, and accommodating. Hilda helped us do our laundry, stored our luggage during our 5 day trek, and even helped bring us to Flores on a 4:45 am early lancha. The area is lovely, calm, and a short boat ride from Flores. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Villa with 4 bedrooms. Huge, clean, and modern room with AC. Nice hot shower and large bathroom. Huge shared and well equipped kitchen. When we were asking for some oil, they bought some for us in a couple of minutes. Very nice and welcoming guys. Laundry room. Calm area. 8min foot walk to the airport, so perfect if you have an early flight to catch.

The staff is incredible! Extremely friendly, helpful and kind. They just talk to you like you are their friend. Loved that! The hostel is very cozy, and has an amazing terrace/bar with a view of the lake. Very affordable drinks. Has enough bathrooms/showers. It's clean and we'll stocked with toilet paper/soap. There are shelves in the room, which helps when you pack. Someone is always at the reception and the entry door is always locked.

Staff were friendly despite our language difficulties; they made contact the day before and on the day I arrived to guide me to the residence. It was good to have a small communal kitchen, ideal for making breakfast and a drinking water dispenser. Nice little rooftop for looking at the river but it could do with a bit of cleaning and rubbish removal. The bed was quite comfortable. I chose an area away from the busy part to get a good sleep and that paid off; it's at the top of the island but only a 6 minute walk back to the island entrance. Note: if you are walking to the apartment, go around the perimeter, not up the middle, which has uneven cobblestones and steep inclines. Staff were quick to fix things when the water stopped working at one stage.
