The room was nice and spacious and I liked the front patio but the staff is really what makes this place. Chris was so so lovely and helpful. He took me to a great beach, helped me find an outlet converter (including calling around to double check), and gave great restaurant recommendations. He is passionate about what he does and it shows!

Marcel and his wife were great hosts. I was welcomed with some fresh fruit and lots of insights into Bali and Padangbai. The view of the harbour and jungle from the balcony was amazing and you can also get a glimpse of Mount Agung in the distance. I only had a short stay as I was taking a boat to Gili, but I wish I'd booked a couple of extra days!

i had a great one night stay here, the fan room was clean and cool, it felt fresh and not stuffy at all, simple but great value for the price, i also slept in and assumed i had missed the breakfast, but as i was checking out they offered to make something and even opened the kitchen again, i had an excellent pineapple pancake and cut fruit, then i was allowed to stay on the extremely comfortable third floor until my ferry, extremely kind, thank you very much

This place was AMAZING! The rooms were HUGE, and very very clean. The bathroom was also big, and sparkling clean. Bed was large and comfortable. Linen and towels were also in fabulous condition. The location provided good access to "Samsara living museum", "Taman Ujung Water Palace", "Virgin beach" and also the neary Padang Bai port. The staff were so lovely and kind. They helped to book a scooter, a taxi when we were running late to the port. Most importantly, they were happy to hold onto our larger suitcases for 3 days when we travelled to the Gilli Islands, for a very small and reasonable fee. Breakfast was tasty and decent sized. Pool was also lovely. They also had a large shared terrace, accessible from the room. Plenty of powerpoints. Big wardrobe provided. Excellent Wifi and Aircon. Shower had hot water and great pressure too! Short walk from eateries and shops.
