The owner was extremely friendly and full of advice, he offered to pick me up from the ferry and transport me to the airport for my flight out. He even rode me to the hospital when I fell ill. The room is basic but very clean, and the hotel is close to the Hokenjo bus station and walking distance to Asanuma supermarket. The building itself is very old and the entrance might be hard to locate at first but if you find Pot Hall you are in the right place, just walk around for the 2F entrance to Forte.

Just a 4-minute walk from Hideie Ukita Tomb and 700 yards from Hachijo Island Museum of History and Folklore, Kencha Rumah features accommodations in Hachijo, with a garden.
