The location is perfect. There is a walkway down to the beach. The room have plenty of natural light and are very clean. (Water pressure in the showers is high, which was a plus for me) Easy to get to by the local transit if you are planning to (note the bus only runs four times a day). Its adjacency to the Uehara port meant majority of the tours would pick us up and drop us off from the property itself. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They assisted suggesting restaurants, helping with requests, setting up reservations. They even drop us off at the port at the end of our stay. They had a restaurant at the rest house. The food was fresh, and delicious.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, the room was spacious, and the food was delicious. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. We can't recommend this place highly enough!

Travelers House おーさんてぃん青空舎 is a recently renovated guest house in Taketomi where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. The guest house is a 14-minute walk from Kondoi Beach.

There is nothing like it! Don't wanna spoil the surprise, so go and find out. A world of Arrietty from Gibri! Best bed also for us. So comfortable!
