A great place to stay! The bathroom especially is extremely nice. The hosts are delightful people and we really enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner (often with them) in their lovely yurt, and the vegetables came from their garden. Their son (Quba) and daughter speak very good English, and we went on a horse ride with Quba which was really fun. The house is a 5 minute walk from the bus station and CBT office.

There are no words that can describe the experience we had! My partner and I got engaged a week before going on our trip to Svetlana’s Guest House and decided to get married at the lake last minute and to invite anyone we met along our travels to this stunning location; with beautiful orchards, snow capped mountains, magical sunsets, and crystal clear waters. The hospitality, generosity, kindness, and love the entire family and town’s people gave us will forever be cherished as we shared our nuptials with them…. And later celebrated with a party in the cozy large yurt. The food is exceptional, you can tell heart and soul was put into it that filled our bellies with delicious food! From morning to night. The guest houses/yurts are extremely well built made from the barehands of the family. There is always hot water and good wifi reception, cold and hot drinks readily available. We cannot wait until next year to visit again and make this a family tradition, especially once we have children. Svetlana’s Guesthouse isn’t just a place to stay, but an experience to call a new place home where you gain family members for life. We cannot recommended this place enough whether you’re a solo traveler, couple, group, or family!

This was a clean and beautiful guest house located within easy walking distance from the downtown area. It had a peaceful garden in the back. The owner helped us arrange an English-speaking tour experience that made our 2nd day very enjoyable.
