The hotel stands true to the many many reviews posted. If you wish to have an experience of living on a traditional Hanok, This is your place. The rooms are small but super comfortable. The best part about the property is that all attractions are at a waking distance. Do not miss the gardens, they say it adds years to your life (primarily because the air is super clean) The hotel provides breakfast and the dining room has a cute 90s vibe with DVD players and family style table. The breakfast is simple fruits, eggs, bread tea and coffee but trust me Fruit in korea is an expensive entity, so eat away! The hotel's staff is very helpful and will arrange a taxi to wherever you want (obviously you will have to pay for taxi). This small city is the most beautiful experience that I have ever had and I highly recommend. Also, do experience a korean meal at a nearby restaurant that the hotel owner recommends.

The staff here was super nice and helpful. I arrived about minutes later than the scheduled check in time because I was a bit lost. The staff waited me, and introduced the facilities very patiently that made me feel welcome here.

Location was exceptional and in the midst of all the traditional street / shops, which made it amazing.

Namuae is a recently renovated guest house in Gyeongju near Cheomseongdae. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

This is a restored and expanded traditional Korean house that offers bed and breakfast, with cultural experience. It is ran by a retired university professor and his wife with passion. The wife, while still active in her career, is also the lady host the of house. She engaged us during breakfast and showcased to us her peronal collection of traditonal Korean costumes and musical instruments. The room we stayed in has ensuite toilet, not usual for a traditional Korean house. The house is in the bustling old town area with many cafe, restaurants and shops. It is within walking distance to the Gyeongju monuments.

We felt like it was a relaxing homestay. The owners were so lovely and welcoming. The room was comfortable and cozy, the location was excellent . We walked to most places with our 1.5year old daughter in the pram. The complementary breakfast was delicious and the kind lady even gave some special snacks for our daughter. The room and bathroom look better than in the photos too. We would definitely stay again!

Such a beautiful place and lovely & kind host. Very personal. The place is beautiful and sparkling clean. The location is spot on. Close to the attractions and market, walking distance if you want to. Far enough from the crowds and traffic. It's so peaceful here. Not far from the homestay, there's a great hanok style cafe facing the tomb. Strongly recommended.
