Highly recommend this hostel — absolutely a hidden gem! Friendly owner and a spectacular Amazon River view from our room. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurant (the food was delicious), helped us reserve a taxi, and provided all the information we needed. The room was very comfortable and clean. We stayed in our room to enjoy the beautiful Amazon River view at sunset. We also love that the local market in front of the hostel.

The guest house also offers free Wifi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. A flat-screen TV is offered. The accommodation is non-smoking. Sightseeing tours are available in the surroundings.

Sarisa house is super clean, safe, and everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again for those reasons.

The lady who welcomed us was efficient and the family room was fine for one night. The beds were ok comfort wise but the curtains didn't shut so light streamed in from the street light all night. It was hot (expected) so the lady at reception kindly brought us a second fan. There was no breakfast available despite it theoretically being included on the booking. We were able to buy some food at the market just outside the hostel. Ok for one night but wish we had spent slightly more for a more comfortable stay after being in the jungle.
