Loved everything about this property except that it could be difficult to locate. The exact signage is not on the outside of the door. The rooms we stayed in were beautiful and well appointed! The courtyard with pool was beautiful! The breakfast was lovely and the staff were great! I would highly recommend this place!

Andre was a fascinating and helpful host-we could have talked to him all day! He prepared a fantastic breakfast, served on a sunny veranda outside the exquisite wine cellar and original kitchen. He sent us off with freshly picked avocados and oranges from his beautiful orchard . Our room had a balcony with beautiful views over the countryside. I definitely recommend Vila Sodre and would like to return!

The larger villa is very spacious, was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The pool was well maintained, very clean. The location was perfect for us visiting family in Silves. Lovely quiet rural location. The BBQ and outdoor covered kitchen/dining area was very useful in April when it did rain periodically. The owner Tom was very friendly and responsive by text message. He lives next door but was respectful of our space and asked if it was ok to do work on the front garden etc.

Hotel was perfectly situated, 14 min from the train station and 20 min walk from the bus stop. Uber rides were under 10 e to get around. Enough transportation to get around. Room was spacious, clean, and AC unit was perfect for hotter months. Shared bathrooms were sufficient to share with 3 other rooms I never had to wait. Kitchen was functional hotel even included lil oil and salt packets for cooking. Dish soap was seen only 1/4 day stay not sure if someone took it or if it was one another guest bought and kept in their room. The stay was exactly what I needed to get around all areas while avoiding tourist traps like Lagos city.

I stayed in Albufeira for 2 nights and had a lovely experience in Casa Amarela!!! The room was extraordinarily clean, same about the bathroom and all the other spaces of the house. I loved the environment and the staff is extremely nice and helpful!!! They are really kind and attentive to details: welcomed me with a bottle of water, candies and a beach towel, so lovely. Paulo even allowed me to stay longer, after the checkout time, as my room would not be cleaned/occupied that day. But you could easily wait at the other common spaces of the property, which are really well organised and comfortable (they have like an office/co-working space!). I’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone!!!

Accommodation is quite modern and extremely clean. Fantastic location - short walk to Old Town Square and the beach. The rooms were tidied and refreshed each day by cleaning staff. Very reasonably priced. Owner/manager very kindly allowed us to leave our bags on the premises for several hours after we checked out as we could not check in at our next location till 4pm. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

EASILY a 3 (or maybe even 4) star property. Price was unbelievably affordable. Absolutely perfect, beautiful, modern design. HUGE “couples shower”, great heat & water pressure. Air Conditioning. Flat Screen TV, fridge in the room, gorgeous patio for socializing, MASSIVE fully-equipped kitchen for storing & preparing food. Very kind hosts, very secure property, with easy parking. This would be a great place to stay for a long term, IF you have a vehicle.

This hotel, 1640 feet from Carvoeiro Beach and limestone cliffs, is peacefully set apart from the bustle of Carvoeiro fishing town. It has a lush garden and an outdoor swimming pool.
