The proprietor and staff were super attentive!! The history of the building and of prior guest date back to the times of Royals which was very interesting. Rooms and views were spectacular. My family and I will definitely return.

The place, its location and views are fabulous. Manuela went out of her way to welcome us and once again, we felt like home in our Douro valley trip. Also our dog Luna felt super relaxed in this place. We had morning rural walks with the view of Freixo de Espada a Cinta village and they enjoyed great breakfast Manuela prepared for us. Couldn't have asked for a better ending of our Douro trip.
