The location is fabulous, offering train, bus or car access to Edinburgh, whilst stay well away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by quaint villages with excellent food options. Including the Justinlee Pub, which is 5 min walk up the road. I would highly recommend this property to everyone.

There is a bus stop close to the property, which has regular services to Edinburgh city centre. The 15th-century Rosslyn chapel, which featured in the Da Vinci Code films, is just 5 miles away, whilst Musselburgh Racecourse is a 15-minute drive from the Laird And Dog. Incredibly friendly staff. Great pub dinner and wonderful breakfast. Cozy room, clean bathroom, solid WiFi. Bus stop literally outside the front door.

This family-run property has a traditional pub and a fine dining restaurant. Pleasant staff, good location for buses to city and very close to Rosslyn Chapel. Lovely hotel very comfortable.

Rosslyn Chapel is just 300 metres away and was featured in the book and film versions of "The Da Vinci Code". Guided tours are available around the magnificent 15th-century building. Super friendly staff, good location for airport, clean and cosy. Very comfortable beds & room.

We loved EVERYTHING, this was our first international trip and we could not have found a more gracious, caring host and lovely room and grounds. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings, very easy to get around on the bus or rail to Edinburgh and the Royal Mile. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast were delightful and very filling and our host also provided advise to sights and attractions. Wish we could have stayed longer. I look forward to staying here again on our next visit to beautiful Scotland.
