At the guest house, units include bed linen and towels. The location was phenomenal. Right in the heart of the old city, but on it's own in a quiet side street. Walking distance to everything. It was perfect. The hosts welcomed us as old friends and told us everything we'd need to know without rushing and giving time to answer questions. They even told us of a local food festival we were able to attend that was one of the highlights of our stay. They were available the whole time to answer any questions or issues we may have had. Communication was great. If you are on the fence about staying here, do it. You won't regret it.

With garden views, this accommodation offers a terrace. The guest house has private entrance. This was the most wonderful place to stay in Dubrovnik. Situated right in the heart of the old city, right beside the city walls and within the peaceful confines of the old monastery. The views from the gardens are breathtaking, both of the old city and the sea beyond. We especially loved the lovely gardens, with vegetables and vines, and also a good number of tortoise! They were beautifully tended and added to the charm. The rooms are simple but well designed and really comfortable. It’s a great modern bathroom with a powerful shower. We were able to check in early which was really helpful and the process was straightforward. All in all it was a wonderful sanctuary, offering a real feeling of calmness and serenity amongst the busy streets of Dubrovnik.

A recently renovated guest house set in the centre of Dubrovnik, Old Town Olive luxury room for 3 is a 4-star accommodation close to Buza Beach and Orlando Column. Among the facilities at this property are luggage storage space and private check-in and check-out, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The property is non-smoking and is situated 200 metres from Ploce Gate. It’s as shown in the pictures (but wider): well furnished with good taste in decoration, a very lovely comfortable room With the plus of a cozy great design bathroom! There’s nothing not to love there, they also keep umbrellas available for customers in case of rain. The host provided detailed info on how to get to the place (video, pictures and also desciption on how to avoid the steepest way). Restaurants, bar, museums and other places to see, they’ll tell you everything. One last thing: the room stands high on one of the greenest stairs in Dubrovnik woth lots of plants, it was a pleasure to take those stairs. But slowly, since I am not young anymore! 😉

Vestar was very helpful and friendly and explained everything to us when we got there. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautifully designed and everything was very clean and quiet. It was easy enough to get to the old town with the bus who leaves nearby. The breakfast at Hotel Lapad was exceptional. It's great that Kala Rooms has an arrangement with them.

The wifi was fast, the shower was clean, there was fresh fruit waiting, cable TV for news and entertainment and the landscape was traditional and perfect for a Croatia experience.

The location is just outside of Pile gate and away from the hectic noise/tourists but still close enough it’s a 2 minute walk from all restaurants and shops etc. It overlooks “blackwater bay” from Game of Thrones if you’re a fan. We stayed in the highest room which overlooks the water, you can hear the waves and the floor below has a cute little patio for a morning coffee. Andrea, the hotel manager is exceptional. She went out of her way to make my husband’s birthday special, decorating our room while we were out, messaging me back quickly on arrangements for a driver to and from the airport and various other requests. She gave great recommendations and ensured the room was cleaned everyday. The hotel isn’t licensed to serve breakfast but they have a cute snack bar downstairs with water, coffee/tea, yogurt, fruit etc to grab and go as you please. The hotel seems to have been newly renovated and has excellent hot water for showers, a safe in the room, comfortable bed and felt very safe. There is a lovely restaurant called Dubravka 1 minute walk up the steps near the hotel and a grocery shop across the street, with taxi and bus options at your doorstep if you need to veer out. If you’re looking for a peaceful oasis whilst still being close to all the main attractions and meeting points in Old Town, look no further!!
