The house was very difficult to find as there was no number on the house. There was no breakfast provided but host left us some yummy homemade pastry.

Lovely Baťa house in a colony of similar red-brick homes, within walking distance of downtown Zlín. Although the garden was under renovation, it didn’t bother us. There were friendly animals in the house. The rooms, while a bit small and outdated, were comfortable and reminded us of old times at our grandmothers’ homes. The host was friendly and talkative — he made me a delicious coffee on Sunday morning before we left. Zlín is an amazing place for a weekend getaway!
