The guesthouse was so cute— a traditional Japanese style house with great kitchen amenities. The location itself is gorgeous— right in between the sea and the green hills. It’s a great location if you have a car or if it’s not too hot out. It’s very walkable and right across the street from a bus stop. But we were there in late July and it was the hottest place I’ve ever been. The heat there made the heat in Kyoto and Tokyo feel like nothing. So if you are coming in July or August, don’t plan to do much walking. There is a local taxi company that you can call, but apps like Didi and Go won’t work there. The nearest beach where you can swim is 10km away. The hosts were incredible. So friendly and helpful. Their English is limited but that didn’t stop them from being very communicative and helpful.

AirBnB This was one of our favorite places we stayed at in Okinawa. It was easy to find, walking distance to the beach, and had more amenities than any other place. The layout is really unique and cozy. Communication with the owner was great. They're so friendly and helpful. They even left a personlized welcome sign for us! 10/10 would love to stay here again.

So secluded, cozy, intimate, comfortable, everything you needed is there, very clean, organized…. The smell of cedar and tatami gave such a nice healing effect
