About 10-15 minutes from downtown Brookings. Hosts responded quickly, check-in was easy, and the cabin had everything we needed. Wood stove heat with additional wall heaters as needed. Amazing view, large deck, deer grazing in the yard. We will definitely stay here again. The cabin is rustic but also has modern amenities like wifi, TV, Alexa for music, etc.

It is a warm and wonderful experience to be nuzzled in the forest just a mere 6 miles from the beautiful Brookings coastline. This wonderful retreat is majestic, with trees surrounding the charming cottage which you can see has been well cared for and intentionally made hospitable. Margo was a great host. Friendly and helpful but also so pleasantly respectful of our privacy. Her dog Murphy was our companion for the weekend taking nicely to our little pug, often joining us on our short walks down the property's lovely trail for our morning trips down to to magical river bed with a cup of Joe and a blankie. What an absolute delight!
