A spacious comfortable and well equipped cottage set in a beautiful garden only 5 minutes drive from the centre of the village. Our host, Angus was extremely attentive and helpful. He gave us lots of information about hiking in the local area, where to eat etc. Nothing was too much trouble.

Cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Great loacation. Modern and Clean. Beds and bedding of high quality. Lovely added extras, like filtered water, pods and coffee machine, milk in the fridge, rusks and biscuits and no interruption during loadshedding. Gardens are beautiful.

The house has everything that you want and need for your stay, from excellent braai facilities to a fireplace inside. The interior design, layout and furnishings are beautifully done and the views over the garden and mountain range are absolutely breathtaking. Hours can be spent looking out from the veranda or comfy seats in the lounge, inbetween the excellent walks that can be taken from the doorstep. The main street and other popular attractions and walks are just a short drive away. This property, together with the locals and scenery, all add to the charm of Hogsback, making it a gem of a place and a must on any bucket list.

The property is a little bit of heaven. Each morning we started our day in the porch with amazing coffee Made from the provide coffee beans, just taking in the amazing views of the well kept garden.

Everything, everything was amazing! The views on the way is spectacular, but when you get onto the property the views just get more and more mesmerizing! We would definitely be coming back whenever possible as we would love to see it in all seasons, if the winter views take your breath and worries away then I can only imagine it in spring!

Very cute garden cottage with a very comfortable king size bed and all the basic amenities one could need for a short stay. We enjoyed the close proximity to the main village and hiking trails.
