EVERYTHING!! The location was perfect. At first, it is quite hard to find but because of that, it makes the location perfect. Only a few mins to walk out to the main street of the old quarter yet its a bit down by the alley so you CAN'T hear the honk-honk from the hustle bustle city. Easily go here and there anytime. The owner doesn't speak English yet the communication was nice and smooth with the translator, they were also VERY helpful and ATTENTIVE with the information we needed. They gave the guests lots of sweets and candies, teas and coffees in the room and kitchen (even INSTANT NOODLE!), FREE water refill ( so we dont waste more plastic bottles), and the room was spacious!!! I can practice yoga on the carpet! SOmehow our glass bottle broke and the water spilled on the floor. I cleaned it with white towel and surprised i didnt see dirt on the towel. So it is just proof that they maintain the cleanliness of the property very well. I love everything they offer. WORTH every penny. Wi-fi is also good for business video calls. Super worth the value. Spending 3 nights there and expected to stay longer yet the place was already full. Too bad 😔 Thanks a lot RIK (and his partner) I def recommend you to my friends and family.

We had a room with enough beds for our family of 5, and Tony the owner made us so welcome right from arrival. He helped us book a Halong Bay cruise, as well as our trip to the Ha Giang motorcycle loop. Everything went off smoothly, and he checked on us all the way through. He also gave us a place to freshen up and keep our luggage between buses in and out of Hanoi. Exceptional service all around!

If you'd like to feel at home with an attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful host,this is the place! Stella was so great, really goes out of her way to ensure a guests experience. The place was very clean, comfortable, safe, and her maid is friendly and did a great job at communicating even without much English. I loved the rooftop terrace and the proximity to all the things- great restaurants, night market, spas, beer street, etc. AND even being amongst the hustle and bustle, inside it was nice and quiet!

Super cute house in a quiet neighborhood outside of the city. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, felt like staying with a friend. They offered us tea and snacks in the morning in their lovely courtyard. Room was basically one giant bed!! Amazing! Super comfortable, we had some of the best sleep on our trip while staying here. Equidistant from old quarter and the airport so perfect location if you are beginning or ending your trip.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The accommodation is a decent size with seating and lots of storage. Thuy Anh is unbelievably generous and helpful. She goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and meets your every need. She serves a variety of delicious traditional Vietnamese breakfasts every morning. The location is fantastic on a very nice street, about a block from Hoan Kiem Lake, with many great restaurants nearby. I loved staying here.

The host was super nice and very helpful, recommended us some great places to eat, on arrival he offered us some homemade cookies and water helping us with our bags to the room, he was very quick and responsive whenever we needed any help or questions. The location was literally perfect, you walk down the stairs and walk out onto the busy street where your in the heart of the tourist area with lots of great restaurants and cafes and a very convenient 7Eleven right across the street. The property is very close to all the main attractions and we found it really easy to walk to all of them. It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room but that’s just my opinion. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this property!!!!!!

    The location of this homestay was just perfect, easy walking distance to all the stuff you want to see in Hanoi, plenty food options all around too. The host family were really lovely and gave us such a warm welcome after a very long flight! Room was spacious and clean and everything you'd need, breakfast was fabulous too.

    Amazing location. Right in the heart of the old town action. Can Walk to absolutely everywhere around old town. It’s Inside a local home compound. Rosie was a super great host, really clear arrival instructions as it’s a rabbit warren to get to but that adds to the fun and the charm of being amongst the locals. Rosie was always responsive, she can pre organise transport and tours.

    Ana is a very nice person and a great host. She gave us suggestions for Bún chả, Egg Coffee and general attractions. She recommended fantastic, non-touristy places where locals eat! She also helped organise a tour and helped us with our taxi to the airport. We opted for the top floor room which was up 5 flights of stairs but the view at the top was fantastic. The location is right in the heart of one of the liveliest places in Hanoi (at night at least). We'll be back.
