First and foremost, the room was very affordable and bed was very comfortable. Washroom, although I had to share, was very clean and with much hot water so that was also great. Staff was so helpful in organizing transportation to and fro. I and my friend did not speak good French, but the staff was trying to communicate with us as much as possible. Breakfast included baguettes and teas, coffee, juice; it was simple but very nice. I found the baguette to be the best in Senegal. Definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting St. Louis.

Very nice very central accommodation. The hosts were very friendly and offered very tasty dinner as well as breakfast. The rooms are modern and very clean. We organised a tour to Touba with them as well as an airport pickup. Both things worked seamlessly. Communication with them via WhatsApp worked very well.

The breakfast was absolutely excellent. Fresh made omelet, orange juice, fresh crusty baguette; other breads, danish, cheese, carafe of hot coffee, etc. The whole experience was very different and so much better than what I am used to. I am used to staying in 4 and 5 star hotels but this villa experience is more like a luxury bed & breakfast. The food is absolutely gourmet and excellent. The decor in the whole villa and the room is combination of African and French tastes. Whomever did the exterior and interior design has great taste and vision. The location of the villa is quite far from Dakar and in a rather remote area which is a pleasant departure from a city atmosphere. Very tranquil and I slept so well in a very comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The villa also provided transportation to and from the airport at a very reasonable price. The driver, Michel, is a very good driver, efficient and prompt. I cannot say enough good things about Villa Chanalu.

We always come here - it has become our second home in Cap Skirring. I can only recommend it. Restaurants are on the beach and home delivery of food is available. The roof terrace is the best, access to beach approx. 200 meters. For this price its just genious. Rooms are clean, big and the internet is very fast. Take a room with a balcony it available.

I’m so glad I randomly stumbled upon this place to stay after leaving Dakar. Immediately upon entering everyone makes you feel at home. Rooms are comfy and clean. The pool and food are delicious. Owners are so kind and helpful. I hope to return one day to this calm place.

Stayed 6 nights. Wonderful guest house, great staff, good and very safe location, supermarket and ATM nearby. Accepts card payment too which is very rare in Senegal. highly recommended for Dakar

It's located in a very quiet neighbourhood, close to the main road, all facilities are nearby, and the beach is at around 5 minutes by foot. But what I liked the most is the kindness of the host Bachir, he'll make you feel like home.
