I upgraded to a suite because it was so well priced. The hotel is new and the amenities, like shampoo and bathroom accessories were a nice touch. The location is perfect, on a quiet alley in the heart of the ancient city. But the best part of my stay was the attentive staff who helped with everything including guiding me to a good restaurant to taking me to a computer store for an adapter. They even helped me do laundry. Highly recommend.

Both of them and all other staff were soo much helpful. They help me to find transfer to Tiger Leaping Gorge, to book tour for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and even airport transfer. They even give me a list of Halal eateries close to the accommodation! Located in Old Town close to South Gate. Far from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to the vibrant area. I extended my stay here because of the hospitality!

The staff (ie Jing Jing) went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They also helped organize our day trips. The A/C is strong relative to most places we have stayed at in China.

Loved the design of the place, breakfast indoor area has a nice yard outside. Staff was a lovely guy who stayed up past midnight for my family as we had a transportation delay which caused us to arrive much later than expected. Excellent service. The tea served is from local tea leaves from staff’s friend who owns a tea plantation. Breakfast is always a hearty tasty main with a side of corn or sweet potato. Sometimes there are seasonal fruits bought by staff from the local market. Loved loved loved the warmth of the staff. Requests for additional food were granted, and if you cannot finish your food they also offer containers to pack them for you. Got a suite with two bedrooms, it has a living area with bar countertop and dining table and seats and one time welcome rose tea packs. Was perfect for my family of four.

Very nice, small boutique hotel in a good location in walking distance to tourist sights. Nice hosts who are very present, friendly, and welcoming. Nice, bright room with high ceiling and large window. Everything clean and in good condition. Nice courtyard and shared balcony. We had a very comfortable stay.

It’s just a 15-minute walk from Tina’s Guesthouse (where the bus stop is), making it convenient yet tranquil. The guesthouse is run by the wonderful 小旅 (Xiao Li), who made our stay truly memorable. He not only managed the entire guesthouse but also picked us up from Tina’s, checked us in, handled the housekeeping, and even cooked for us yummy pancakes 🥞 ! He also kindly drove us to the trailhead for our hike down to the river the next day. Our room, which was in the corner of the building, offered a stunning 90-degree view of the mountain across the street—breathtaking! The place was quiet, clean, and affordable, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend Zhuoma Inn for anyone visiting Tiger Leaping Gorge. Note: no lift. All walk ups
