This is a decent budget option in Praia. The staff is friendly and answer any questions you may have. There is a kitchen so you can cook and the bunk beds are okay. There is a nice restaurant with live music nearby, and Praia Quebra Canela beach is within walking distance. The area didn't seem too dangerous for the few days I was there, although I didn't roam around at night, so I can't speak to the safety at night.

I was surprised! It was a new place. Very clean, nice room and good location 5 minutes walk to to center city. They have good communication and helpful with everything. 10/10

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Lena, Jil, Bacary, and the rest of the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help with absolutely everything I needed. They are very special people, and they are running a very clean, comfortable, reliable place. I would absolutely stay here again. The wifi worked well, I appreciated the hot shower, the bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed the location. About a half-hour walk from Plateau, Sucupira, or Palmarejo, with plenty of ATMs, minimarts, and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away.

Located in Praia, 1.5 miles from Praia de Gamboa, Helton´s Residence provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Elton was the best host I’ve ever had. He helped coordinate transport and with getting access to things I needed. Place was clean and secure. WiFi good. Location is a bit further from beach but just a $1.50 -$3 USD taxi anywhere around the city.
