I loved waking up to the river everyday. This hostel was the most amazing view by the river. The hosts were so nice. At one point they took my call to meet me outside because I was scared of a street dogs they came to my rescue right away. As for the dorms they are very simple and basic but they do the job.

Beautiful place and beautiful people working there! Honestly the pool is so so nice, with a great view to the jungle in one side and to the town in the other- the walk to the town is short and nice. They also offer tours to Semuc and we thought it was great value for everything that was included plus our guide was friendly and patient- we had lots of fun. The food is also nice and the prices are decent. Bathrooms are clean and lovely hot showers Worth to stay the extra day- thank you to everyone!!

Everything was wonderful. My room (a double room in a cabin of two rooms, with shared bath) was clean and quiet, at the top of a hill looking down toward the restaurant/bar, pools and river. The shared bath was clean but a bit small, and a bit of a walk from the cabin. The restaurant/bar/lounge area was spacious, clean and very pleasant. The pools were also clean and the perfect temperature. The best part was the staff; they were attentive, friendly and professional. Thank you, Sonia, Yadira, Cristian, Lionel, Dominga. Berta, and everyone else that made me feel so welcome!
