The hostel was virtually empty in the summer - lots of freedom to feel at home as it's so quiet. The location couldn't be better as it's in a historical building in the Old Town - but everything inside is fully renovated. The staff was very helpful and easy to approach. The room had the bathroom and the toilet, and multiple lighting options. The street was quiet.

Incredibly friendly staff / cleanest rooms imaginable / comfy beds / even the linen smelled nice / indoor bathrooms in each dorm / beautiful restored historical building, albeit the rooms are not historic but in the fashion of a youth hostel. 10/10 would come again!

This place is within the old fortress and part of history. Good location in the old town, ten minutes walk to the swimming area of the river and twenty minutes walk along the river to the town centre. Room was great. Bed Comfy. Internet good. Just a word of warning: Google Maps takes you to the wrong door so contact the place for better directions. Only negative was there is nowhere to make a cuppa or warm up a meal. There are plenty of places to eat or drink nearby and prices are not bad for me but consider your budget.

Built within an Austro-Hungarian Fortress, this hostel is of a high standard. Shared rooms were single non-bunk beds partitioned into two sets of two with a good sized ensuite with separate toilet, shower and vanity area alongside wardrobes and lockers as-well-as a desk. The staff were excellent and secure in-house bicycle storage is free and convenient. There are also elevators. For the price paid, all was well.
