My stay at Healing Home and Hostel in Auroville was nothing short of amazing, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. This place is more than just a hostel—it truly feels like a home, thanks to Vijay and Spydy, the two wonderful hosts who run it. They are friendly, considerate, and soft-spoken, making sure every guest feels comfortable and well taken care of. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible food they prepared daily. Their local vegetarian meals not only tasted great but also improved my gut health—something I didn’t expect but truly appreciated. Having wholesome, home-cooked meals every day made the experience even more special. The rooms are well-lit and well-ventilated, providing a clean and peaceful space to rest. Cleaning is done daily, ensuring a hygienic and fresh environment. They also have a washing machine, making laundry super convenient for long-term travelers. The fully functional kitchen allows guests to make tea or coffee anytime, which was a great touch for someone like me who enjoys a warm drink while working. Speaking of work, I was provided with a table and chair, allowing me to work comfortably during my stay—something that digital nomads will definitely appreciate! The terrace is huge, offering a breathtaking view of the jungle at the back. At night, the stars are clearly visible, creating a serene and magical atmosphere. The sunset views from the terrace are spectacular, making it the perfect spot for yoga, meditation, or simply unwinding. Their garden space is beautifully decorated with string lights, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. They often host bonfires and musical gatherings, fostering a wonderful community vibe. Additionally, there’s a backyard space where they plan to build another hut for guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Safety is not a concern here—the location is very secure, and there’s plenty of parking space available.

Everything was great! Location, staff, Wi-Fi, security, facilities, very comfortable bed and room, even the restaurant on ground floor is great!

It was just like another home for me 🏠. No other words to describe.
