I am a solo traveler and wanted to visit Naoshima and Teshima Island. It was just a 5-7 minutes walk from Uno port which was very convenient. The beds are comfortable and I don’t mind having 1 shower because there is a schedule system.

1) tent in a room sounds interesting and nice and offer privacy too. Four tents in the room so it is not as crowded. The bed is amazingly comfortable. 2) free breakfast is an advantage, free tea & coffee are great, kitchen is fully functional. Bathroom and toilet just one, but they work beautifully. Free washing machine is another great point. 3) friendly host and hard working people to keep this place tidy and clean

This was our favorite stay in Japan for so many reasons- The owner, Shin is so generous and friendly and made our stay wonderful! He picked us up from the train station, sat and talked with us, educating us on all the interesting g places to see in Takamatsu. His home has been in his family for over 2oo years and has been removed so tastefully with fine carpentry. We loved the cedar lined bath! I cannot recommend a place to stay more highly! Shin is a wonderful interesting host! Thank you so much!!

It feels like a secret holiday house. The bath was very relaxing and you can use it privately too. The staff are very friendly, they helped providing me with alternative methods to reach the property as the direct buses stop after 7pm or so. It’s very clean and the restaurant felt very private and delicious. You can grind coffee beans in your room and read books and magazines it was a beautiful experience and design.
