the owner let us early check in even though we arrived very early in the morning! She also gave us all the information about sightseeing which was really helpful. All the facilities were really clean and new, bed was spacious and comfy too! It has nice social vibe and their food was great too.

Anou Hostel is absolutely one of my favorite hostels! The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and always smiling! The rooms were amazing, even in the 8-bed dorm! It was so spacious, and the beds were HUGE and super comfy. Cleanliness is on top! The toilets always smelled fresh and were spotless, and the rooms were well-maintained and super clean. Another highlight is the variety of chill and work-friendly areas, perfect for relaxing or even working remotely. Plus, they offer breakfast, a simple one (Egg/bread/salad) but was so good. I highly recommend Anou Hostel to anyone visiting Pakse!

Chato is by far a more relaxed place. Quiet but in the middle of restaurants and cafes. Situated in front of the night market, ATMs , Korean food, even a Thai coffee shop . Chato is your best option . Skip the trendy , pricy places, as they are not always the best. Sleep well at Chato .

A hostel with more natural space than the average. Backpacker’s hostel has multiple options for accommodation such as private rooms, family rooms and soon to have camping tents. This hostel is a nice mix between camping yet with access to restrooms, restaurants, bar and assistance for trekking or transportation services. A very relaxed and friendly environment ran by a lovely family who takes care of their community as well as their guests. Definitely recommend.

Best stay EVER! They let me check-in at 9am after my sleeper bus! The bed was very comfy, even with a mixt 10 beds dorm I slept like a baby. Loved the curtains, towel, free ice-cream everyday !!! The bathroom right outside the dorm was perfect. Sewing kit to fix your clothes if you need. Everything was clean. The receptionist is a fabulous lady, always lovely, smiling, ready to help. She gave me some food for my 12 hours bus to siem reap. That I booked with the hostel for cheaper than 12go by the way! Best place in Laos.

The beds are large and incredibly confortable, and despite being in a dormitory, we each had some good privacy thanks to the curtains. After 2 months traveling in Asia, felt good to have a nice closed shower that is not above the toilet and that has hot water! And finally, their breakfast buffet in the morning is tasty so overall good experience here. It’s a very nice hostel I recommend before going to do the loop (they will keep your bag, and you can shower when coming back)

clearly one of the best hostel in Asia so far. Any backpacker I met in Laos who had been in Pakse recommended to stay there and I understand why. The ladies are so nice, everything is made simple for you from transportation, tours organisation. I was there during Christmas and they even offered the Xmas eve dinner to all guests ! Besides all this, everything is very clean, bed very confortable and laundry super fast (less than 12 hours for no additional charge).
