The well is a paradise, perfectly located, It is a place where every detail is studied and considered. The owners are wonderful, even though I stayed in the low season so never met you in person, they always answered the phone at all times and even after I left they continued to answer to my questions. I recommend the place hands down! The pink house next door does incredible breakfast, make sure to have a coffee there!

Staying at KA Surf Hostel in Ahangama was an amazing experience. The hosts were so warm and welcoming and were happy to cater to our every need including laundry, helping us find services in the city such as bike rental, massages, passport photos, you name it. Breakfast was prepared for us each morning at a time we preferred and was delicious. The rooms are clean and cozy. The hostel is located off the main road behind a cute farm with water buffalo and birds, and we even saw a monitor lizard one morning! A very beautiful and secluded location that is still just a 5 minute walk from restaurants and Kabalana Beach. Would recommend anyone traveling in Ahangama that is looking for an authentic stay!

I loved the common Room, it feels like home , and travelers gathering around spending together like good friends . I loved the staff treating you like. A family member . And the Coffee menu they have , so delicious . The Hostel is just across the street from the beach , where you can surf and play volleyball. As the hostel has a WhatsApp group for the tenants where they organize volleyball time and hangouts

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is amazing – right by the water with a gorgeous sea view, and perfect for surfing. The rooms were super clean and comfy, and it really felt like a holiday spot. But the best part was definitely the staff – they were sooo friendly and made us feel at home right away. Such a great experience in Weligama! Definitely stays on our list if we travel Sri Lanka again!

JIB Hostel stands out as one of the most welcoming, accommodating, and comfortable hostels I have ever stayed. The owner, Jiny, was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable insights about Weligama. Her warm hospitality made me feel at ease as a newcomer to the area. The dormitory is spacious, and my bed was both clean and comfortable, offering ample room for all guests. The bathrooms are also large and well-equipped with necessary amenities. A notable feature of JIB Hostel is its restaurant, which serves a delightful array of Asian fusion dishes, including Korean, Thai, and Japanese cuisine, making it easy to find satisfying meal options. My stay at JIB Hostel was truly enjoyable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
