Really good Place to stay, well located close to the beach and to the restaurants. The owner is a cool guy, helped us with everything we needed and showed us around the first night, definitely would come back!

Great stay, felt a lot more local than the busy main area. recommend getting a scooter if you’re not keen on walking the 10-15minutes to the main beach, but it was worth it for the hospitality! Felt like I was part of a little family. Met two different people who had been here years before and loved it so much they came back. I can see why, I would also return again!

I had a wonderful stay at HiriCurry Hostel during my visit to Hiriketiya, Sri Lanka. The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and supportive The hostel provides great amenities like a shared fridge, free drinking water, and a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of hammocks and a few board games. Since I visited during the quieter off-season, the vibe was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beautiful Hiriketiya Beach, and close to the main road, which made it easy to pick up supplies or grab a bite from nearby local food spots. Overall, HiriCurry is a great choice for both solo and couple travelers. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a laid-back, clean, and convenient place to stay in Hiriketiya.

I loved staying here at Helena Hostel. The location is incredible, but most of all, the family is the most generous and kind people I have met. It felt like family, as if I was their daughter. They cooked incredible dinners for me and supported me in every way possible; things to do, where to eat, how to use public transport, everything they helped me with. Great stay for Dickwella, with a nice garden! The rooms are big, beds very long/wide and comfortable. Also comfortable (hot water) shower. The staff is incredibly friendly/eager to help, and you can order food with them. From Tamarind Moon I could walk to Hummanaya Blow Hole & Kudawella Beach one way, and Blue Beach, Hiriketiya and Dickwella Beach the other way. Small stores for snacks/water near by. Place is also easy reachable from Dickwella Bus station. Just take line 11, 334/1(?) or probably any other bus taking the highway in north east direction from Dickwella (Rs. 40 one way).
