Nice private room, quiet location on large road, but away from city center noise. Being in Nuwara Eliya was a welcome break from heat! Comfortable bed, room had a small table with two chairs and a sofa bed. Nice that the wall socket had two USB ports. Large spacious bathroom with great hot water. Nice western breakfast of fruit, omelette and toast. We hiked to Single Tree Hill and to Lover’s Leap Waterfall from the house. Haran the host spoke excellent English and his multicultural background enables him to be super welcoming. When he offered to cook dinner for us, I asked to watch his preparations and spent a delightful two hours learning about making curries, as well as learning more about the culture. Dinner was an excellent value as the portions were generous and food was freshly prepared.

"I recently stayed at Namadi Nest in Nuwara Eliya and it was truly an amazing experience. The location is beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and tea plantations. The food served at the restaurant was delicious, with a great variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes to choose from. The hotel also offers a range of activities, including guided hikes through the tea plantations, visits to nearby waterfalls, and even cooking classes. The staff were always happy to arrange these activities for us at short notice and they were well worth it. Overall, I would highly recommend Namadi Nest to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay in Nuwara Eliya. The location, service, and amenities are truly top-notch and I can't wait to return!"
