great location in the centre of the Medina, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff were very friendly and kind throughout my stay. excellent and filling breakfast. I would highly recommend Dar Afram!

The place is brand new, clean, and equipped with all the facilities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy common areas perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. What truly made my stay unforgettable was the owner and the staff. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful with everything, whether it was giving local tips, arranging activities, or just sharing a friendly conversation. Their hospitality really made me feel at home. I would definitely come back here on my next visit to Essaouira and highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and well-located place to stay.

Wonderful. Magnificent. With the best kept secret in all of Essaouira, the terrace. The staff are super friendly and the deco and cleanliness are super. Recommended!

Fantastic stay at la smala. Amine who was working at reception was so friendly and helpful. Really nice vibe in the hostel & the roof terrace was absolutely stunning. Would stay again. The dorm beds were wider than most with a privesy curtain. clean funky bathrooms, never had to wait for a shower as plenty ...all in all was fantastic 👌

Whether I was enjoying my morning coffee on the terrace or strolling along the nearby beach, the serene beauty of the surroundings was a constant source of tranquility. The dormitory I stayed in was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The comfortable beds and individual reading lights added a thoughtful touch to the overall design. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail - from the themed decor to the artistic murals that adorned the walls, it was clear that the hostel had put in a lot of effort to create a unique and memorable experience. But it wasn't just the aesthetics that won me over. The communal spaces, such as the cozy lounge and well-equipped kitchen, fostered a sense of camaraderie among fellow travelers. I had the pleasure of meeting people from all corners of the world, sharing stories and making memories that will last a lifetime. The hostel's staff went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Their recommendations for local restaurants, hidden gems, and activities to do in the area truly enhanced my travel experience. It felt like I was staying with friends who genuinely cared about ensuring I had the best time possible.

Cool vibe, open and friendly hosts. interesting construction with nice design & shared spaces. Clean, nice restaurant on site (order in advance) . It’s a bit off the side so having a car is very helpful.

A very comfortable place with a wonderful staff and the best location in town.

This is a wonderful hostel and hotel located very close to the center of town and the beach. The staff especially Ahmed, Elias and Abdul were so friendly and welcoming. They invited me to a feast one night and we played music and games in the family room by the fireplace. The bedroom was very quiet, the pool was clean, the breakfast was delicious. I didn't order dinner but it looked amazing. The common areas and room and bathroom were cleaned and stocked regularly. Ahmed provided me a towel for free when I asked and organized a taxi for me to Ghazoua when I was departing that arrived on time. And of course the price is so cheap! I will return one day.
