I arrived in the midst of a big storm, around 9 pm and staff were friendly and helpful as we waited for wifi to come back on for checkin. I chose the location because of its close proximity to Pacific Central Station and it was easy to catch my 530 am bus to Kelowna, with staff available. Very good to know for my next trip to Vancouver.

You can play billiards at the hostel, and the area is popular for cycling. This was honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The atmosphere was super welcoming and it was so easy to meet people – perfect for solo travelers. The staff were incredibly kind and always happy to help with recommendations or just have a chat. The location was ideal, close to everything I needed, and the hostel itself was clean, cozy, and had a great vibe. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were always clean, and the common areas had a really chill energy. I also appreciated the small details – lockers, good Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped kitchen.

There is a large shared kitchen and lounge on the lowest floor. Great for socializing and big family meals. Great location, all the facilities you could want. It's a cool building with a lovely walk down to the beach and surrounded by trees. Andy is a great host and made me feel super welcome in Ukee. It's all you could want from a hostel and more.
